Is population growth a problem or helpful?

I have been research sources many times and here I found the article by Stephanie Feldstein at Center for Biological Diversity also discusses human population growth effects on climate change in the world especially in the U.S. She said the U.S. added about “9,441 metrics of carbon dioxide.” I cannot believe that Americans produce greenhouse gases more than double Europe. So what makes carbon dioxide emissions increase? The answer is the population growth.

The other article I found that from library debate by Peter W. Huber, it is so interesting because he discusses his opposite viewpoint about overpopulation growth in the U.S. does not effect on the environment and the crisis on it does not exist. He said that overpopulation has credited on technology, and point out that Americans make more efficient use of land. He just sees and claims on side effects of population growth such as the scientific advances use the preservative on food that makes food longer life, otherwise, that chemical makes negative ways. It might cause cancer.
They are both talking about effects population growth in the U.S. on our environment and health. When I compare these sources, I find that Stephanie Feldstein said overpopulation is bad for the environment. I agree with her because more population produces pollution through the use of cars, we must end up cutting down the trees. We need that help create oxygen, which increases carbon dioxide, a form of air pollution.
I disagree with Huber that he said population growth does not have problems. He said, “ we burn enough fossil fuel to release some 1.6 billion metric tonnes of carbon into the air each year.” When we burn fossil fuels produce gases go into atmosphere sometimes called “greenhouse gases” include carbon dioxide. These gases trap energy from the sun, making the Earth’s temperature rise. Greenhouses are used to grow the plant. They trap heat from the sun and keep the inside of the greenhouse warm. This is good for winter but in fact if human burns too much fossil fuel will cause global warming.

In my opinion, population growth is a big issue in the U.S. if we want to live longer, we need to concern about population. I think we should be concerned about population growth in the U.S., because it effects on our environment, health, jobs, and economy.

Exploring what make the population growth in the U.S. ?

Population growth in the U.S. is so fast because the fertility and unwanted birth, According to Fred Elbe at U.S. Birth Rates and Population Growth said: “ Each year there are approximately 4 million births in the U.S. 2.4 million deaths.” The U.S. fertility is higher than the other countries such as Europe and Japan.
The other reason is unwanted births in U.S. about “400,000 per year.” including teenage birth has 28% between 1990 and 2002. In my opinion, the government policies need to reflect a specific plan such as family planning and birth control.

And the article by Robert Schlesinger at U.S.News, which discusses population growth in the U.S. in 2106 was "322,762,018" that means more than 2.4 million people had been added a year. One person was born every 8 seconds and someone died every 10 seconds. "The U.S. population increased by one person every 17 seconds." according to the Census.

I found it very interesting from this article that  the U.S. population in 2016 added more than "2.4 million" people and immigrants are one part of what made up the U.S. population growth. What makes population growth in the U.S.? I think most of the immigrants want to move to the U.S. is a land of opportunity, developed country, and freedom of speech.
Does population growth create jobs or do jobs lead population growth?
I do not think population growth create jobs. The rapid growth of population will increase unemployment around the world especially in the U.S. Living in overpopulation, everyone goes look for a jobs, but compete for a limited number jobs.

Effects population Growth in The United States

Why does human population matters?
Is increased population hurts our environment?
And is increased housing costs keeps middle and lower class people from affordable housing?
Less affordable shopping means people have to buy cheaper and less healthy food.
What the effects of overpopulation in the United States? Should we be concerned about the population growth in the United States? And Why?

Today, in the United States is facing many issues of concern including serious problem of overpopulation. There are some reasons that population growth in the United States can effect on our life such as on environment, health, and housing cost.

Population growth is impacting the environment in the United States. Many people worry that overpopulation is stressing natural resources. A larger population means a larger workforce and more people overusing the non-renewable of oil, coal, and gas. One of the most damaging effects of overpopulation in the United States is cutting down the trees of the forests, which makes more roads, which makes more traffic, which causes pollution. Population growth in the United States growth raises the number of vehicles and industries that pollute on the environment especially on the air. They raise the amount of carbon dioxide, which contain chemical would lead to the air pollutions and environment pollutions will increase.

The United States are developing the country especially in Denver Metro area, so more and more people from the others country want to move there to live. That makes Denver Metro keep building more houses. The materials to build houses cost a lot of money, which raises the cost of rent and mortgage. So it is hard for some middle and lower class people from the affordable house.

What happened if the government of the United States do not have enough food supply to feed for population growth. Increased population growth in the United States puts demands on the farmer to meet the need of providing enough food for increasing the numbers of people. It costs farmers more money to buy seeds to prepare the ground for planting and gathering their crops.
Food shortages will lead to starvation and malnutrition. Now our health is threatened by overpopulation rate. People live in the United States are more susceptible to get the disease because they do not enough nutrition from their foods and drink the water contaminated by the human population.
