Effects population Growth in The United States

Why does human population matters?
Is increased population hurts our environment?
And is increased housing costs keeps middle and lower class people from affordable housing?
Less affordable shopping means people have to buy cheaper and less healthy food.
What the effects of overpopulation in the United States? Should we be concerned about the population growth in the United States? And Why?

Today, in the United States is facing many issues of concern including serious problem of overpopulation. There are some reasons that population growth in the United States can effect on our life such as on environment, health, and housing cost.

Population growth is impacting the environment in the United States. Many people worry that overpopulation is stressing natural resources. A larger population means a larger workforce and more people overusing the non-renewable of oil, coal, and gas. One of the most damaging effects of overpopulation in the United States is cutting down the trees of the forests, which makes more roads, which makes more traffic, which causes pollution. Population growth in the United States growth raises the number of vehicles and industries that pollute on the environment especially on the air. They raise the amount of carbon dioxide, which contain chemical would lead to the air pollutions and environment pollutions will increase.

The United States are developing the country especially in Denver Metro area, so more and more people from the others country want to move there to live. That makes Denver Metro keep building more houses. The materials to build houses cost a lot of money, which raises the cost of rent and mortgage. So it is hard for some middle and lower class people from the affordable house.

What happened if the government of the United States do not have enough food supply to feed for population growth. Increased population growth in the United States puts demands on the farmer to meet the need of providing enough food for increasing the numbers of people. It costs farmers more money to buy seeds to prepare the ground for planting and gathering their crops.
Food shortages will lead to starvation and malnutrition. Now our health is threatened by overpopulation rate. People live in the United States are more susceptible to get the disease because they do not enough nutrition from their foods and drink the water contaminated by the human population.

  1. I really like your topic because it's something people think less about and there is less awareness in my opinion. I like your response on the growth of population at the end of the blog post, talking about what if there wasn't enough food supply to feed the fast growing population. Yes, many things are effecting the overpopulation by the increasing amounts of cars and carbon dioxide being put out to pollute the environments clean air. One thing you could have added in this blog post was like another point of view or more of what you think.
